Best All Inclusive Hotels & Resorts in Sunny Beach
We’ll start with Sunny Beach, which is the most popular destination in Bulgaria – especially for the younger, more party-oriented crowd. Despite this, we found plenty as a family, so there are options for all styles of travel.
1. Voya Beach Resort – Editor’s Choice

This is my top choice for 2026 – it is simply out of this world in terms of the quality of the services, the location, the food… everything. And, after years of missing one important thing – a private beach – it finally has one to offer a complete experience to all travelers!
Located right in front of the sea, it offers spectacular sea views from its rooms, so getting a sea view room is a must! Voya Beach Resort also offers a large outdoor pool (and an indoor one), various water slides, and a pool/play area for younger children.
Everything here is superlative, from the clean rooms to the friendly staff and amazing atmosphere overall. Plus, I think that the food at Voya is the best you will taste in Bulgaria. There are other resorts that offer high quality, amazing food, but none compares to Voya Beach Resort which follows the UAI concept this year.

Even more so, starting last season, they focused on offering branded international alcohol 24/7, which can also be considered a major bonus as we all know that the quality of the drinks is not always the best at AI resorts.
NOTE: While I listed it in the “Sunny Beach” category, it’s actually just outside of Sunny Beach in the Sveti Vlas town (which is a few minutes’ drive away from Sunny Beach). Still worth it, 100%.

2. DIT Majestic Beach Resort
A massive resort that is starting to show its age a little bit, DIT Majestic Beach remains one of the top choices in Sunny Beach and Bulgaria in general. Although it’s rated at “just” 4 stars, I’ve had a 5-star and above experience here.
Make sure to get a sea-view room for the best experience. You’ll also have a view of the pool area, and it’s truly spectacular. All rooms are large and in good shape, although all those shades of brown and orange they use make it look a bit dated. At least they are soundproofed, so you will get a good night’s sleep!

It has three large pools (two for adults, one for children) and an amazing garden area that offers stunning sea views. Delicious food is aplenty, served at three restaurants, plus various other eating areas and bars scattered around the resort.
You can burn off some of those extra kilos you’ll surely gain by getting some exercise done at the resort’s gym, or go for some team sports at one of the 2 tennis courts and 2 football/basketball arenas.
Or just enjoy and relax at the hotel’s spa area, where you can get Asian massages, a Cleopatra bath, a Turkish bath and much more. Really, the options are endless and everything here is of the highest possible quality.

3. Secrets Sunny Beach Resort and Spa – Adults Only
A proper 5-star All-inclusive experience that you won’t forget, especially since the resort is embracing the “adults only” concept, making it perfect for those who want to relax with zero screaming children around.
It has a large pool next to the sea and a private beach also. Due to its premium location, you get spectacular views from everywhere: your room (all have breathtaking sea views), the pool area, the restaurants… it’s gorgeous!

The quality of services offered here is also amazing. The staff is always smiling, speaking good English and always willing to help.
The entire place is sparkling clean and the food is amazing. Although there is just one main restaurant in this resort, the food is delicious and varied. I particularly liked the desserts here as they are creative and not too sweet like in many AI hotels.
Like some other hotels in the area, they offer an “upgraded” option called Preferred Club. This includes a few extra goodies, like a larger room, a dedicated concierge, access to a private lounge, and reserved areas throughout the resort. Some people still debate whether it’s worth the extra costs, but if you can afford it, I recommend getting this upgraded experience.

4. DIT Evrika Beach Club Hotel
We visited this hotel back in 2019, but based on all my research, it remains today just as amazing as it was when we visited.
Located next to the beach, Evrika Beach Club offers spectacular sea views from some rooms – I recommend getting one, as nothing is more relaxing than watching the Black Sea from your balcony.
For a 4-star hotel, I found the rooms to be large, beautiful, and extremely clean as you can see below:

What I liked the most was the restaurant and overall the food at the resort. Absolutely no complaints here – we had one of the best culinary experiences while staying at Evrika.
The resort is a good choice for thrill seekers and kids in particular. It has its mini-aquapark with several slides, but also a dedicated area for younger children, with some slides and other attractions.
It was very difficult to keep our son away from these – but we all loved it, that’s the truth!

You can also opt for the Premium service here (that’s what we went for) for additional perks, more options to feast and an improved room.

5. Melia Sunny Beach
A humongous all inclusive resort, Melia Sunny Beach is rated at 4-stars but it would easily fit in the 5-star category, in my opinion.
The food is varied and of high quality, especially thanks to the Indian restaurant on-site which offers a welcome break from your regular buffet food at All-Inclusive resorts.
My son claimed that he had the best food at Melia (although I believe it was just him getting older and truly appreciating it). But, yes, no complaints here!
The hotel has a few swimming pools (that are usually pretty crowded), as well as a slide, but it also offers a private beach with a beach bar on the premises, so you have plenty of options for spending your time. The best news – and probably something we’ll see more of in Bulgaria in the coming years – is that one of the pools is now heated during the season.

6. Dreams Sunny Beach Resort and Spa – Premium All Inclusive
This five-star gem in Sunny Beach delivers the kind of experience that makes you wonder why you’d ever settle for less. It’s massive, well maintained and impressive.
From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like royalty. They paid special attention to my son too, always chatting with him and making him feel welcome. It was instantly clear that the service here is top-notch.
The rooms are also spacious and clean, with super-comfortable beds. And the bathroom? Modern, spotless, and stocked with premium toiletries, unlike what is usually offered at Bulgarian hotels.
If you’re booking, go for a sea-view room with a balcony. Waking up to the sight of the Black Sea sparkling in the morning light was something I’ll never forget.

The resort also has an aqua park that’s equal parts fun and impressive. Water slides, splash zones, and pools that cater to both adrenaline junkies and loungers like me. Add in the private beach area, and you have an unbeatable combination.
Note: Similar to Voya Beach Resort, this hotel is located a bit outside of Sunny Beach itself, closer to Svett Vlas.

7. HVD Club Bor – 24 Hours Ultra All Inclusive
If you’re looking for a more somber and stylish approach, HVD Club Bor is a great choice for your All Inclusive stay in Sunny Beach.
Even better is the fact that now the hotel also has a Private Beach (it didn’t in the previous years), but you still don’t get sea views from here due to its position which is not in the front line of the hotels). Still, it’s on this list because it offers amazing rooms, service and food for a perfect holiday.

The rooms are of a decent size and generally quiet, but the views are not the most amazing (if you are like me and consider sea views amazing). However, they’re great for rest and relaxation.
And for putting on extra pounds. Not the rooms, but the place itself as the food at HVD Club is aplenty and delicious – especially the sweets which I always promised to eat fewer of, but simply couldn’t. Just look at the photo below and you will understand why:

If you prefer a more intimate experience and a slightly smaller resort – and you don’t mind not being right on the beach, then this resort is a good choice!

8. Aqua Nevis Hotel & Aqua Park
While this hotel is similar to the one recommended above since it has no private beach and no sea views, it does have a lot more to offer in terms of entertainment for thrill seekers thanks to its impressive aqua park.
If you are all about spending the entire day at the pool, enjoying all the amazing slides and water-related entertainment, then this is the perfect choice for you. It has tons of slides and a huge area is covered by pools. Just look at the photo below to see what I mean!

It has a dedicated area for kids, but also a minigolf course and a wellness and spa center. Also a gym, but I can’t say anything about that since, well… I haven’t checked it out. Ahem.
The rooms are a bit on the smaller side – probably the only reason why this is rated as a four-star hotel, but they’re not tiny by any means.

The food is also diverse and decent to say the least. You will always find something to eat there, even if it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But in our case, it’s still more diverse than what we normally have at home, so no real complaints here.
Do keep in mind that especially during the peak season, it gets crowded and noisy so I would suggest trying to get a room not facing the slides.

Golden Sands: Best All Inclusive Hotels & Resorts
We’re now moving to the second most popular beach resort in Bulgaria. This one mixes nightlife with aquaparks and a more family-oriented approach, so you get the best of both worlds.
Let’s see which are the best choices of all inclusive resorts in Golden Sands, Bulgaria!
1. Melia Grand Hermitage – The Level Experience
This was the first 5-star all-inclusive resort that I ever visited in Bulgaria and I was extremely satisfied with the overall experience. Premium quality everywhere and my entire family was happy when we first visited, although the quality dipped a bit for our second and most recent stay.
It is located on a small hill near the beach, providing some of the best views in the resort. I recommend getting the full sea view rooms for the best experience.

I recommend booking The Level experience, which gives you plenty of extras – a better room, access to a dedicated, The Level Restaurant (less crowded and slightly more food options), a heated outdoor pool, and a few extra bars and goodies. It’s a bit more expensive, but a must in my opinion.
It was one of the very few places where you could get premium drinks, for example, without having to pay extra (or bribe the people working there). I was truly impressed!
We visited again last year and I have to admit that the quality dropped a little bit, while the prices increased, but overall, Melia Grand Hermitage remains an amazing choice for an All-Inclusive stay in Golden Sands, Bulgaria.

2. Grifid Encanto Beach Hotel
If you’re looking for a more active type of holiday – as well as 5-star services from a 4-star resort – then Grifid Encanto Beach is the place you’re looking for.
There are some amazing concepts here especially if you’re into a more “get fit, not fat” type of mentality.
Featuring a beautiful infinity pool (a bit small, but still nice), but also some amazing sea views – including a great gym area with amazing views over the Black Sea, Grifid Encanto offers all sorts of wellness and staying fit options while you’re there, with detox & weight loss, relax packages and so on.

Or just go for the DIY type and enjoy the healthy food (still delicious and with less healthy options available) type of holiday. There’s a bit of everything for everybody here.
The best part is, in my opinion, the Concept room/vacation area. This is a bit more expensive, but it’s worth every extra penny, as you get additional goodies including a private rooftop sundeck, better-looking rooms and more, similarly to Melia’s The Level experience.

You also get free access to the nearby Grifid hotel’s aquapark, while the private beach awaits just a stone throw’s away from the hotel.

3. Sentido Marea Hotel – 24 hours Ultra All inclusive
With 24-hour Ultra All-Inclusive perks, a private beach, and pools for every age, it’s perfect for families, couples, and single travelers too.
Even though it’s smaller than some of the resorts on this list, it’s modern and good-looking and offers everything you need. Plus great discounts if you book your stay early!

This is truly 24-hour all-inclusive, unlike most hotels. Start your day with breakfast smoothies, grab a late-night snack, or enjoy the themed buffet dinners that keep things special. The à la carte Bulgarian restaurant is a must, offering delicious local flavors served with a modern twist. Four bars keep the drinks flowing too.
It is reported that guests will now receive free access to the GRIFID Splash Park Bolero – but make sure to double check when you book, as this offer might not always be active or available.
Golden Sands has plenty of good options, but Sentido Marea stands out for its attention to detail and unbeatable value and that smaller, cozier vibe that it offers without cutting back on quality.

Best All Inclusive Hotels in Albena
Albena is the most family-oriented resort in Bulgaria. If you want to go and enjoy the silence more than anything (and don’t care about the nightlife), then Albena is a perfect choice. So let’s check out the best All-Inclusive hotels here.
1. MARITIM Hotel Amelia – Luxury Ultra All Inclusive

MARITIM Hotel Amelia combines five-star luxury with a unique theme that pays tribute to aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart, making this the first themed hotel in the area. From the moment you step inside, the sleek decor and design inject the spirit of adventure.
The rooms are huge, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed to reflect the aviation theme. Big beds with high-quality linens, similarly spacious balconies, and elegant bathrooms ensure that every guest feels pampered.

Eating here is a treat. The buffet restaurant serves fresh, locally sourced food with plenty of options for all tastes. While the menu can feel repetitive during a longer stay, the variety and freshness of fruits, salads, and main courses still offer plenty of tasty options.
While service and entertainment have room for improvement – some staff lack experience and don’t speak English, while the activities are minimal – the overall experience is great and the entire family will leave this place feeling happy.
NOTE: the rooftop pool you can see above is reserved for their Premium Customers, so if you want access to that (and other perks), make sure to book the upgraded version.

2. Kaliakra Beach Hotel – Ultra All Inclusive
This was our first All-inclusive hotel in Bulgaria, and I absolutely loved it here! It’s a four-star hotel with smaller rooms, but plenty of personality. And it’s right on the beach with the sea view rooms offering some of the best sea views in Bulgaria. Really few hotels can compete with this one!
You get ultra all-inclusive service here and the food is amazing. Even though rated at 4 stars (probably due to the size of the rooms which are a bit small), the food is 5-star grade. It’s usually locally grown and sometimes organic.

Plus, lots of options, and each evening you have a different theme – traditional, Italian food, Mexican, Mediterranean, and so on.
The hotel has an outdoor pool, including one for kids – but with such an amazing beach seconds away, you won’t spend too much time at the pool. We certainly didn’t. Overall, it’s budget-friendly, family-friendly, and great. Highly recommended.

Other great All-Inclusive Hotels on Bulgaria’s Coast
There’s a lot more seaside in Bulgaria than the three top destinations mentioned above. You will be surprised to find some pretty amazing options if you look around a bit.
And I did the looking for you. Check them out – I am sure you won’t be disappointed – on the contrary!
1. Wave Resort – Ultra All Inclusive (in Pomorie)
One of the best All-Inclusive resorts in Bulgaria, Wave Resort is a solid choice for everybody (and one of the few Bulgarian resorts that kind of matches in quality the best hotels in Lara, Turkey).
It’s the kind of place where kids run straight to the water park, parents actually get to relax, and everyone ends the day happy (and probably full from the buffet).

The pools are the main attraction here. There’s an infinity pool, a semi-Olympic pool, and even a water park just for the kids. The little ones loved the splash pad and mini slides, while I appreciated the quieter adults-only pool for some much-needed peace.
Keep in mind that their special Lagoon Swim-up rooms now have a minimum age requirement of 7 years, probably for safety reasons. Also, they have introduced the Wave Deluxe Club room tier with exclusive extras, also costing more (but highly recommended if you can afford it).
The beach? It’s there, but honestly, the pools steal the show, so don’t expect much sand time.

2. Lighthouse Golf & Spa Hotel (in Balchik)
If you’re looking for a 5-star, luxurious place to spend a high-class summer holiday, then you should choose this resort, even though it’s a bit away from the beaten path.
As the name suggests, one of its main attractions is the golf course it’s part of (created by pro golfer Ian Woosnam). If golfing is not your thing, then maybe they can lure you in with one of their special rooms that come with their own, private pool!
If that’s not enough, you have an amazing spa area stretching over 900 square meters (close to 10,000 square feet), a beautiful outdoor pool and free access to the nearby private beach (which has to be booked at the reception in advance – but it’s free).

The beach itself is not the most amazing you will see in Bulgaria, being pretty narrow and close to a cliff… but the water is still nice and everything else is top class.
There are several restaurants on the premises, serving amazing food, the rooms are large and clean and comfortable… everything is there to keep you and your loved one happy.

3. Duni Marina Royal Palace Hotel (in Duni)
If you’re planning a holiday that feels like a mix of beachside luxury and non-stop activities, Duni Marina Royal Palace near Sozopol delivers exactly that.
There’s even a dedicated aqua park for kids (and the young at heart). The private beach is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of sun loungers available. As you can see below, one of the main pools is right on the beach!

The rooms here are spacious, clean, and comfortable, especially if you book one with a sea view.
With a buffet that covers everything from fresh salads to hearty local dishes, meals here are satisfying, though not groundbreaking. For variety, try the on-site Italian and Bulgarian a la carte restaurants. One tip: Don’t skip the desserts at the buffet – they’re surprisingly good!

4. Astor Garden Hotel (in St. Constantine & Helena)
Situated close to Varna (which has an international airport), in the underrated resort town of St. Constantine & Helena, Astor Garden Hotel is a 5-star All Inclusive Hotel located right on the beach, in a pretty unique area.
It has three decently sized outdoor pools (plus a few smaller ones), as well as a private beach area just minutes away from the hotel. There’s also a smaller indoor pool available, as well as a sauna and other spa & wellness facilities.
It looks like the entire place was recently renovated, but I couldn’t find any info on this. But this does mean that the place looks new, is sparkling clean and everything around is new and in a perfect condition.
The rooms are spacious and decorated with good taste, but make sure to select one with a sea view to get the most out of them. The pool view rooms are the loudest, while the park view one offer more silence (but no sea views).
There are two restaurants here – one of them being an a la carte – and the food is varied and delicious, obviously of high quality. There are also 4 bars around the premise, including a beach bar and a pool bar.
They now offer complimentary access to the Aquahouse Thermal & Beach (the neighboring thermal complex), which is one of the most prestigious spa facilities in Bulgaria. Make sure to double check and confirm this when booking, as it might not be always available.
All in all, this is a really good AI resort in Bulgaria, and since it’s in a less popular city, it can be considered a kind of a hidden gem. It does get crowded, though, but there is enough room for everyone!

5. HVD Reina del Mar (in Obzor)
For my final recommendation, we’re heading over to Obzor for a really impressive concept for an all-inclusive resort. It’s a real treat if you made it this far – although it’s definitely not the most budget-friendly all-inclusive hotel in Bulgaria.
Divided into smaller villas that stretch along three pools (one of which is heated – a rarity in Bulgaria, even for 5-star resorts), this is a relatively recently built resort with everything in pristine shape.

The rooms are huge here and very modern, and even though most of them only have a partial sea-view, it’s still worth booking your stay here. High quality everywhere, from the restaurants to the rooms themselves.
The kids will really appreciate it as well thanks to the high quality playground area and all the activities for them. All in all, a great luxurious stay that will make you very happy!

Why choose an All Inclusive resort in Bulgaria?
In my opinion, going for an All Inclusive resort is a perfect option for families traveling with children. Actually, all All Inclusive hotels in Bulgaria are specifically tailored for families with children.
Kids are pretty picky eaters and I can say from my own experience that it can’t get any better than in an AI resort. There, they can easily see the food that they’re about to eat and they can safely and easily choose their favorite.
This way, you don’t run the risk of ordering something at a restaurant and them refusing to eat. And even if they do, there are plenty of other options available.
Plus, their kids club will keep the little ones busy and happy, helping them make new friends and have fun while you relax. All in maximum security!
All inclusive stays in Bulgaria have two other great advantages: they are cheap, yet offer a lot for the money and they also help you budget your holiday easily.
Because once you are there, you will not have to spend a single dollar extra, as everything is already covered. This way, you can just go there and relax, not having to worry about sticking to a budget or unexpected expenses.
Nothing beats and all inclusive stay, especially when we’re talking about soaking in the sun and relaxing all day at the beach or by the pool.
Pro Tips for Your Bulgarian Holiday
Traveling to Bulgaria in 2026 is different than in previous years. Here is what you need to know to stay ahead of the crowd:
The Euro Transition: Bulgaria is now officially using the Euro. While the Bulgarian Lev can still be exchanged at banks until June, all prices in resorts are now in Euro. This makes budgeting much easier for most European travelers, although some voices claim prices will go up a bit as a result.
Schengen Benefits: If you are driving from Romania or Greece, the land border checks are gone. This has cut travel times significantly. If you are flying, you will arrive at the “Schengen gates,” meaning no more long passport control lines.
The “Early Bird” Reality: Because of the Schengen entry, interest in Bulgaria has spiked. The best resorts, like Voya and Wave, are seeing sell-outs as early as February for July and August dates. I recommend booking at least 4-6 months in advance to lock in “Early Booking” discounts of up to 30%.
Airport Logistics: For hotels in Sunny Beach, Nessebar, and Pomorie, fly into Burgas (BOJ). For Golden Sands, Albena, and Balchik, Varna (VAR) is much closer.
Wrapping up
As you can see, Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast offers a range of options that are hard to beat in 2026 when it comes to all-inclusive stays that remain affordable.
So choose the one you like the most – mainly based on the town you want to be in – and rest assured that your holiday will be safe and extremely enjoyable!
And don’t forget to share with us all what your choices are and, when you return, how satisfied you were with your pick.
